With a strong history of keeping Elk City safe, our staff of firemen, EMT’s and Paramedics in which we have 27 full-time (paid) members and 17 volunteers are always ready to handle all emergencies. We operate the department with three engine trucks, five ambulances, one aerial ladder truck, five brush rigs, two water tenders and a fully equipped rescue truck. We average just over 7 calls/day with approximately 2200 EMS calls/year and 500 fire & rescue calls per year.
Elk City Emergency Notification System
This system will send general messages such as event notices, emergency messages, and it will also be used to send weather notifications for severe weather.
