Your gift to the Elk City Carnegie Library means the difference between a good library and a great library With private support we can expand our collections to meet our community’s preferences and needs for materials and technology as well as enhance literary and humanities programs and bring books alive to serve the needs of children, teens, adults, and people with special needs. Memorial gifts (money, books, microfilm) are designated with bookplates with appropriate persons being notified of the donation.
Join the Friends of The Elk City Carnegie Library
Since 1993, the Friends of the Elk City Carnegie Library have sponsored projects and expenditures that extend “beyond the command of the ordinary library budget”. The Friends promote awareness of the library in the community and raise money for library projects through the book sales each year and volunteer their services in the library. Low annual dues of $10.00 make memberships affordable to all families.
Donate Books
Are you interested in donating books, compact discs, or other items from your home or office to the library? If so, the Elk City Carnegie Library appreciates your donation for their shelves or the book sales. Proceeds from the sales enable library projects and activities not covered by the library’s operating budget.
